Carter MacDougall, a Three Oaks graduate heading for Holland College is the recipient of this year’s Wendell J. Gallant Memorial $500 Scholarship.
The scholarship was originally set up to honour a former Chamber President, the late Wendell Gallant and to enhance the future likelihood of young people contributing to our business community. Each year, the scholarship is open to local high school graduates with a parent who owns or works for a GSCC member company. Carter, whose mom works at BDO and dad at Summerside Home Furniture, is planning to study Aircraft Engine Repair.
