During the month of February the GSCC and Downtown Summerside teamed up to spread a little cheer across the business community.
Summerside residents were asked to tell us which businesses they felt deserved some recognition and why — and they did.
Throughout the month, the two organizations recognized a total of eleven businesses whose clients felt they had something special to offer. Among those who received a recognition certificate and a heart-shaped box of chocolates were: Mystic Touch, Edge 251, Bernards’ Kwik Mart, HMS Office Supplies, Michael’s Pizza, Samuel’s Coffee House, Spotlight Theatre, The Humble Barber, Global Pet Foods, Avonlea Books and the Farmer’s Market. These businesses were chosen based on the quality and enthusiasm of their customer’s recommendation and our congratulations go out to them.
On February 29th, all others who received customer mention during the month, were presented with an “honourable mention” Summerside Business Love sticker for display on their premises.
