In 2018, Robbie Robinson was recruited from the Drew League to play for the Island Storm, bringing him to PEI. Prior to this, he played NCAA D1 college basketball in California and played internationally in 8 different countries. He has participated in numerous youth camps and clinics, including Jr. Ballislife All American basketball camps.
During the pandemic, Robbie created P.I.K Basketball, a program for kids that teaches life skills through the sport. Through P.I.K, he trains kids of all ages individually, in groups, or through free instructional videos on Instagram(@pik_bball) and Facebook.
Robbie would like to bring his love for basketball and an active lifestyle to the kids of PEI through the P.I.K after school program that will be held at the BGC in Summerside.
Currently, Robbie is the lead Assistant Coach at UPEI. Also, he is the Sr. Marketing Manager of the Eastern Canadian Basketball League, the premier professional Basketball League of the Maritimes.
