The GSCC Business Excellence Awards are back and better than ever!
Join us on Feb. 2nd for our gala event celebrating this year’s nominees in our 8 award categories, including 2 new awards: Accessibility & Inclusivity Award, and the Lifetime Business Achievement Award!
This year the Chamber is excited to honour those businesses who are making workplace accessibility a priority. The Accessibility & Inclusivity Award will be presented to a business or organization that demonstrate a commitment to making their products, services, and physical locations accessible to all people by:
- Comprehensive approach to accessibility in the workplace,
- Responsiveness to customer inquiries and feedback
- Utilization of assistive technology solutions.
- Implementation of accessibility features, tools, and services throughout the customer experience
- Provides an inclusive atmosphere for staff and clientele
The addition of our new Lifetime Business Achievement award will provide an opportunity to recognize those business leaders who continue the legacy of Summerside’s long history of enterprising individuals. This award will be presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to their field and have achieved success in their business endeavours by:
- Demonstrating exemplary leadership
- Over 20+ years of experience in business
- Innovation, and dedication to their work
- Significant contributions to the local business community
As a whole, our Gala event will celebrate the successes of businesses from across the region. It will be a night of celebration and recognition of the hard work and dedication of businesses from small to large. Attendees will enjoy an evening of networking and fine dining, as well as presentations of awards to businesses for their achievements throughout the year. This event is a great opportunity for businesses to connect and celebrate their successes with their peers.
