Hannah Hardy has been awarded the Chamber’s 2017 Wendell J. Gallant scholarship on June 2 at the GSCC’s golf awards reception. Proud Dad Andrew, an employee at Vector Aerospace was on hand to share in the celebration. Hannah will be attending UPEI in the fall for Bachelor of Science with a major in Kinesiology.
This scholarship is available to students who have applied for enrollment in a post-secondary program and who are a son or daughter of a Chamber of Commerce member or a member’s employee.
It was established by the family of Wendell J. Gallant who was President of our Chamber in 1989, with the stated intention “to enhance the future likelihood of young people contributing to the business community of the Greater Summerside area.”
