Four new doctors received a warm welcome from the business community March 9th, at an After Hours Mixer hosted by the Eptek Arts & Culture Centre.
Doctors Brenda Keeping, Martha Carmichael, Matthew Kutcher and Nihat Bhuiyan (above L to R) were introduced to the crowd by Sheila Maclean, the province’s Physician Recruitment Coordinator, following remarks from the Honourable Robert Henderson, Minister of Health & Wellness and Mayor Bill Martin.
Doctor Bluiyan is an anesthetist at Prince County Hospital, as is Doctor Keeping. Doctor Carmichael is an internist with a subspecialty in geriatrics. Her husband, Doctor Kutcher is a family doctor now practicing at Harbourside Medical Clinic.
Three other doctors were also welcomed although they were unable to attend: Doctor Lisa McInnis, a hospitalist at PCH, Doctor Michelle Barton, a family doctor at Summerside Medical Clinic and Doctor Mohamed Nasir, an internist.
