Membership Engagement Committee Report

This year the main focus of the membership/youth engagement committee was to continue working toward connecting young business professionals.  In 2015 it was identified at The Way Forward conference the business community would like to hold Under 40 Chamber mixers.

In 2016 we continued with two more of our under 40 mixers. We held a winter mixer in February at Open Eats and a Summer Mixer at The Lobster house at the Ship Yard Market.  The events were well attended with lots of connections made.

Our Committee is excited to be continuing with the under 40 mixers in 2017.

I would like to thank the committee members Tara Simmons, Virginia Doyle and Julia Kilbride along with my co-chair Gordie Montgomery for the work they’ve done and continue to do.

Respectfully submitted,

Aaron Jackson
