1. How long have you been living and working in Summerside?
continued growth and countless customer requests we’ve decided to invest in a 3200sqft public retail and service building located at 499 water street in Summerside, which offers a full line of fire and safety supplies.
2. What was your journey to landing as the Operations Manager of P&G Fire and Safety?
I’ve been working in the fire and safety industry for the last 18 years. This past August, I had the opportunity to join a team that offers exceptional customer service. I accepted the position and my experience with them has been outstanding.
3. Tell us one of your most memorable experiences while working in Summerside?
Being a volunteer firefighter, I’ve seen firsthand people on their worst days. Recently we’ve joined the Save A Heart Campaign. In the past 2 months, we’ve sold a record amount of AED’s. Knowing the public is that much safer in saving a life is a pretty awesome feeling!
4. What would be a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about working for P&G Fire and Safety?
We take great pride in taking the extra time with our customers to ensure no question goes unanswered. We feel it is an extension of our service to ensure our customers understand what they have and how it works. At least once a day we hear the phrase “I have no idea how to use my fire extinguisher”.
5. What is the work culture like at P&G Fire and Safety?
I’m going to go with family for this one. We’ve known each other for years. Even before we all started working together at P&G Fire and Safety. Whether we’re at work or hanging out on weekends, we always have an amazing time together.
6. Why did you choose Summerside to live and work?
Well, I’m a PEI guy through and through. Growing up and still living only 15 minutes away is pretty awesome. I’ve heard for years that Summerside needs a company like ours and having the opportunity to be apart of that is remarkable.
7. If someone was thinking about moving to live and work in Summerside, what advice would you give them?
Go for it. This small city has so much to offer and is growing everyday.
