Egmont District Federal Debate Draws Strong Community Engagement
The Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Harbourfront Theatre and CBDC, was proud to host the 2025 Egmont District Federal Debate on Tuesday, April 15th at the Harbourfront Theatre.
With a full house and an engaged audience, the evening brought together all four confirmed candidates for a dynamic and respectful exchange of ideas on the key issues facing the Egmont District:

Moderated professionally, the debate offered candidates an opportunity to present their platforms and respond to questions submitted by members of the local business community and residents. Topics ranged from economic development and healthcare access to climate initiatives, infrastructure investments, and support for small businesses.
