Attendees were treated to an inspiring keynote address by the Honorable Perrin Beatty, who shared his insights on economic development, community engagement, and leadership. His participation added tremendous value to the event, furthering the conversation around strengthening local communities.
“We are delighted with the outcome of our inaugural Lobster Luncheon,” said Monika Wang, President of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce. “The funds raised will go a long way in supporting Junior Achievement of PEI’s mission to educate and inspire young leaders.”
The $15,000 raised during the luncheon has been officially presented to Junior Achievement of PEI, an organization that empowers youth through education programs focused on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. JA PEI has a long-standing commitment to shaping future leaders and entrepreneurs on Prince Edward Island, and this donation will directly support their efforts to equip students with the tools and confidence they need to succeed.
Les MacLean, President of the Rotary Club of Summerside, echoed the excitement: “This event highlights the power of collaboration within our community, and we look forward to continuing these partnerships to make a positive impact in Summerside and beyond.”
The Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Summerside extend their gratitude to all who attended and supported the event. With such an outstanding turnout, both organizations are already planning future collaborations to continue supporting local causes and creating opportunities for community engagement.
Thank you to MRSB Group and Key Murray Law for sponsoring this event and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
