In December, 2022, the GSCC surveyed it’s membership and the results have been compiled and are now available.
The survey provides feedback on the top issues facing local businesses, what business outlook and plans are for the coming year, and current satisfaction with Chamber Membership. A summary of findings from this survey is as follows:
- – Year-over-year, overall GSCC Engagement & Satisfaction has improved
- – Rising costs was the business issue that had the greatest impact on GSCC Members in 2022
- – 37% of respondents plan on hiring in 2023, with only 2% cutting staff
- – 28% of respondents increased their prices in 2022 and still expect to increase prices in 2023
